Post Discussion on Global Poverty

I had a wonderful time on Friday night and I really appreciated everyone that was able to make it, as well as the interseting conversations I had with people that weren't able to make it. It's good to know that there are so many other people out there that want to make a diference in the world.
Nikki had mentioned that when there's a good cause that you're fighting for, people rally around that cause. I kind of felt that happening in general. It wasn't neccessarily any great cause I was doing, but the whole idea of just getting together to have a somewhat more meaningful discussion about how to make the world a better place got me and others excited. I think I'm still glowing about the things we talked about and what so many of you are doing right now.
I'm setting up this "Blog Space" as an attempt to continue the conversations that we had. I know I've thought about the things that were said, as have some of ya'all. I'm hoping this "blog" technology can be used to further some of the discussions and maybe give another way of creating even more communication. I personally would like to write more, and I think it would serve as an excellent reflective excersise.
